DOUBLE MAJOR AND MINOR PROGRAMS
Double Major Program
Minor Program in Geographical Information and Remote Sensing Systems
Minor Program in Earth Science

Double Major Program in Geological
Engineering
The program consists of all courses in
the undergraduate curriculum. The equivalency of the courses will be
determined by the Department.
Compulsory Courses
1 restricted elective course(s)
approved by the Department of Geological Engineering.
1 free elective course(s) approved by the Department of Geological
Engineering.
4 technical elective course(s) approved by the Department of
Geological Engineering.
1 nontechnical elective course(s) approved by the Department of
Geological Engineering.
Minor Program in Geographical
Information and Remote Sensing
Systems
The program is designed to provide
systematic approach to students who are interested in the field of
activity which integrates all the means used to acquire and manage
spatial data required as part of scientific, administrative, legal
and technical operations involved in the process of production and
management of spatial information. Considering the interdisciplinary
nature of the subject the program offers equal opportunity to
interested students from different departments.

Minor Program in Earth Science
This program is designed to provide
necessary background to the students who are directly or indirectly
involved with the earth resources and/or processes in their major
field of studies. The major objectives are to broaden the spectrum
of the interested students, to strengthen their interdisciplinary
communication and to provide the foundations for future scientific
research and/or professional applications.
